Company Profiles

Included with the yearly subscription model, the Built In Company Profile was one of the most successful and visually appealing products offered to entice users to ‘follow,’ learn and apply to companies open roles.


OBJECTIVE
To develop and update the Company Profile feature that enables employers to effectively demonstrate their company culture, values, and job opportunities to potential candidates.


GOALS
Replatform the existing Company profiles and move them from Drupal to Golang and Vue. js
• Create additional tabs for companies to highlight their various offerings
• Create upsell opportunities and a seamless experience for all size and location.

The original Company Profile, seen here started out as a simplistic one-pager with a set order of widgets providing a brief overview of what the company valued and offered.

The Overview Tab

Enable employers to provide a comprehensive overview of their company, including a concise summary, funding history, team photos, mission, vision, and other relevant details.

The Insider Page

Added as a media rich upsell, the Insider Page allowed companies to select a specific topic to highlight: Product & Tech, Company Culture, Diversity Equity & Inclusion and Remote Culture and feature quotes, images, videos and interviews from current employees.

Aside from the visually engaging front-end user-facing page, we also needed to completely overhaul the backend, Edit Company Profile experience. This page was previously built by the internal Account Management team as a white-glove service, but was redesigned to be an easy-to-use customer-facing UI. To achieve this, the team incorporated multiple rounds of internal research and customer feedback into the design and copywriting process. The page provided examples, tool tips, and an intuitive UI so that customers could quikly add, create, and push their new content live.
